The old saying is fish bite the least, but do ducks fly the least? I discuss it in today's Q&A. Click below and see what I said. What are your thoughts? How are your duck hunts on a east wind?

My ole granpappy always said: "Wind from the north, fish bite like a horse....wind from the south, fish bite hard with their mouth....wind from the west, fish bite best....wind from the east, fish bite like a beast."

So, fish anytime you get a chance.

One of our many ancient duck hunting proverbs: the wind is our friend. It all comes down to the right location for the existing breeze. I have one location that can be hunted on any wind, though the setup varies with the conditions. Other spots are good only under certain winds.

Do you guys agree with "The Third Day Lull" I was talking about in the answer? Some of the worst days I have ever spent in the field is that day in a normal winter weather pattern. It is the day when not much wind is blowing and if it is blowing it is either out of the east or southeast.
