Oil Pressure Gauge

I have a 2011 Chevy Truck with 150000 miles. When I turn the key on and even after I crank my truck, the oil pressure gauge peaks out to the top. Have any of you guys had this issue? Do you think it is just an electrical problem?

bad sending unit you have to remove the intake to replace it

A GM with too much oil pressure??? ... Definitely electrical glitch.
