what wrong with her?
what wrong with her?
I have a few videos of her, and her ears are kinda folded forward. Never seen anything like it.

Re: what wrong with her?
Either just a birth defect or coyotes got here ears while protecting a fawn?

Re: what wrong with her?
i agree with landscaper. Birth defect. We had a doe on our place about 6 or 7 years ago the same way, except it was only 1 ear. She was easily identifiable on game camera and she was coined "Flop", like a floppy eared bunny. I ended up videoing my dad sticking Flop with his Switchback at 15 yards one fall eve. She was delicious if i remember right!

Re: what wrong with her?
We have one on our place with only half a left ear. We also have one that has no tail.
Re: what wrong with her?
I showed this to someone recently and they thought it could be an injury, like she got away from some coyotes, or the like. Thought that was an interesting theory also.

Re: what wrong with her?
Born with weak cartilage in her ears. If a yote gets both ears, the neck is right there. Lots of people are born with jacked up ears too

Re: what wrong with her?
Probably not. Just bad cartilage. Could have been the way the fetus was positioned in the uterus among other things. Cartilage is very flexible and resilient. If it looks funny then it is usually something you are born with. Especially bilaterally.
