HA HA, this is funny to me that Ole Miss has no balls whatsoever!! I hope they end up like the progressive libearl retard schools that are doing all the protesting for nothing across the country right now. They deserve what befalls them.

I am an alum and am really disappointed. A rep from the school called me last night to ask for money. I was happy to tell them no and Merry Christmas!!

Whether it was one event by students or whatever, Ole MIss is headed in the wrong direction in my book. I aint picking on them cause I went to State, I really don't care for either of them, State just had the forestry school, i just see it as a sad reflection of where the School is headed, and nobody has the balls to stand up and say enough is enough.

Ain't that the dang truth. Everybody see's something on Facebook and immediately takes it as if it is 100% true. I figured there was more to it than that. The press release states that the organizer for the event wished everybody a "Hotty Toddy Holiday" much like i would tell anybody "Happy Holiday's," and it got blown way out of proportion.

Now that being said. They need to put the dang flag back up, or quit taken state funding.

I'm glad the university came out and took a stand. I could be wrong but I'm willing to bet the initial reports were pretty accurate. They just didn't expect the backlash it received. As a Christian I'm glad folks spoke up. UM is becoming pretty liberal. I know most of the ole Miss fans on this board aren't but I have some good friends that are UM alumni that show their true colors around every election cycle or major social issue.

When I was at Ole Miss, 'bout 30 years ago, about 5% of the place could be called liberal, and they stayed hidden amongst themselves for self-preservation. Now, its probably different at most schools with the "millenials." Its coming to "your favorite school," too. Everyone gripes about these kids these days. I keep asking: HEY, WHO RAISED 'EM? They ain't all from outta state.
