Head Ball Coach

I really hated to hear that Spurrier retired. He doesn't seem like the "quit in mid-season" kind of guy. That does not fit his personality. Is it is health? Or did boosters suggest that he retire at the end of the season and he just got mad & quit? He does hate losing; that’s for sure. But the mid-season decision is odd.
It is a closing of a chapter. He single handily changed the game of college football. Maybe the game has now surpassed that man.
He was funny and he could get under the skin of some of our biggest rivals, which was fun (unless your team was the target). Plus, I think he ran a very clean program. Cheating was against his upbringing.
One thing is certain……..the head ball coach’s retirement has left a void in this game! I wish him well!
