Federal Duck Stamp

Postby tha bugman » Tue Sep 29, 2015 7:56 am

I purchased my Federal Duck Stamp electronically this year and I have yet to recieve it and it is well beyond the 45 days that I should have gotten it. I got a number from FWS to call about the status but that yielded nothing but an electronic menu that led to nowhere. Anybody else had this trouble?

“Your stamp will be mailed to you. If you do not receive it in 45 days please call 1-800-852-4897”.

With this 45 day wait rule, is the receipt good enough for hunting till it comes in?
Also does the post office carry them or everywhere have to order and wait?

the post office on campus said they used get a few each year, but haven't gotten them the last year or so. not sure if it is just the campus p.o. or not, but have gone to the starkville p.o. with no luck, as well. i finally started ordering online at this site:

Each post office chooses whether to order them. Two POs I've bought from in the past didn't have any prior to teal season. Ended up buying them at Field & Stream. Academy also carries them.
Never assume.

Yes receipt is fine. I actually called MS Outdoors radio and got that answer from Chad Dacus.
