The last weekend of the month Sept 26 at 9 am at Roosevelt State Park in Morton the Southern Free Trappers will be having their Fall meeting. Anyone that is concerned with managing predators are welcome to attend and learn first hand the most successful way to this. Coyotes are tough on deer, but coons and skunks are the number one predators on turkeys. There will be demos on how to control all these animals that anyone can do and supplies will be on hand as well. Past the word it will be a great learning experience.

Skunks? I didn't know that? What about armadillos? Do they destroy turkey nest?

Cool! Predation is by far the biggest factor of duck mortality.
