I think the CEO of The Kellogg Foundation ought to bring his booty down to MS and sit in on a class or two where these black male students are unfairly targeted. You want to fix black male boys? Fix black male fathers. That's going to take way more than $2M. Matter of fact it can't be done with just money, and it sure can't be done from freakin Michigan.Article wrote:The W.K. Kellogg Foundation, based in Michigan, announced the grants Tuesday to Tougaloo College and the American Civil Liberties Union of Mississippi Foundation.

Wait, wait, wait. The article said that they were going to target Sunflower county. Have you SEEN the student population in Sunflower County lately? Of course black male students are disproportionally targeted for harsher punishments than white male students. All boys are disproportionally targeted for harsher punishments than their girl counterparts; And there aren't a whole helluva lot of white boys in the public school system to begin with!Smoke68 wrote:I think the CEO of The Kellogg Foundation ought to bring his booty down to MS and sit in on a class or two where these black male students are unfairly targeted.
