Any help / prayers appreciated

Been a rough few days on the hill here in TN. My best friend lost his son (new born) last Thursday. Had some complications and he just didn't make it, but he was tough enough to spend about 9 hours with us before the Lord called him above. I don't' have kids, but this is by far the worst thing I have ever been through or apart of with a friend. His wife has been very sick since having the baby (kidney failure, liver problems, etc.) and is still in ICU.
Prayers are greatly appreciated, I can't imagine what they are going through. I have been at the hospital everyday after work just to talk to him. Not talk about what happened, but just to be a friend.
