I know this is really random, but I wanted to see what you guys thought. Here goes:
I took my irons (8-10 yr old Taylormade) to a local shop to be adjusted. While there less than 2 days, they managed to lose two of my irons. The owner/manager was very apologetic and didn't charge me for the work. Said he would keep looking and to check back in a few days. Also mentioned that he would help me out and "cut me a really good deal" on future purchases. The owner/manager appeared to be more upset about the situation than I was and I'm pretty sure an employee who wasn't there at the time I picked up my clubs is taking the butt-chewing for it.
I'm gonna check back later this week, but assuming they don't turn up, what should I ask them to do to make it right? I think asking for a brand new set of irons is too much, but I don't want to just take two random clubs from the used bin and have a mismatched set.
What say you guys???

...or give him the remainder of your old set in exchange for a similar (or new) complete set of irons. That way, its not a total windfall in your favor
