Anybody catch it last night? I thought it was really good. Grew up hearing those stories about those two and the '83 through '85 teams so it was cool to actually see a documentary about them. Didn't realize there was that much separation between the two so I enjoyed learning about that aspect of it.

30 years later it's still the same in my eyes. Raffy rode Will's coattails at State. He always wanted to be better than Will, and it took a needle to do so. He was shooting up and got busted.

Been looking forward to seeing it; hate I missed it. I will catch it one of the next 40 times it airs though.

Yea, he was pretty small (at the time). So was Will (who is now "swole").

So which one was Thunder & which one was Lightning? If I had to guess, I'd say Raffy / Will respectively.

I know several teams have had their own version of T&L, but it seems like I remember Ole Miss having a couple of running backs nicknamed Thunder & Lightning in the 80's or 90's. Anyone remember who they were?

raffi said he thought will was thunder, powerful swing, and he was lightening due to his quick bat speed.
