DEM BUCKS RUTTIN' YET???????

ANYONE SEEN ANY BUCKS RUNNING DOES YET? HAVEN'T WITNESSED IT FOR MYSELF THIS YEAR YET, BUT HEARD FROM SEVERAL FOLKS THAT THEY'VE SEEN SOME ACTION RECENTLY AROUND THE VICKSBURG AREA. HOW ABOUT EVERYBODY ELSE?

Got one camp in the hills in Vicksburg and another in Valley Park. The bucks are ready. They have been chasing does since the latter part of last week. The does aint ready yet. Give it till this weekend or next week and it will be on like a chicken bone.

Seeing a few more ducks up in Valley Park but not enough to worry about. This rain today aint gonna help us out none either.

I also hunt around the v'burg, eagle lake area and also around the tree farm area and have seen a few bucks chasing does and have heard several stories of some bucks really fighting hard.

I hunt around West Point and our bucks have been acting up since early this month (around the 1st). I kept thinking that it was too early for rut, but I guess mother nature knows best. I ain't complainin'!

bucks are in rutt heavy around shelby and mississippi river area. have seen two
bucks fighting.
