Shoot me an email or call and I'll put you in touch with my taxidermist in Bridgeport, AL. All you have to do is ship next day. He only does birds and won National again this year. Best regards

What was so special about a bluebill that you wanted it mounted. They probably taste better prepared that way. 8)

Philip Hewitt down here in McComb also does a great job with ducks. That's all he does, and while he hasn't won the national on it, he's never entered. He picked it up as a hobby about 5 years ago and is awesome at it. Shoot me a pm and i'll send you his website and phone #.

I heard there was some guy in Sturgis or somewhere in that area that did a good job. Anyone know about him?

They probably do taste better that way, but tell me you've ever seen a better looking scaup! The bird's not mine, it's a part of his collection and one he entered in a recent competition. He just won national with a trio of silver teal from Argentina. A good friend and hunting partner, Shane's been mounting for 17+ or his 29 years. He won state with the first duck he ever attempted, a wood duck at age 12, and has never looked back.

Hey now! I eats them thar Dos Grirs(blue bills for you red necks) as that is what we shot alot of, along with teal, at my old camp in St. Charles parish La. off Lake Ponchatrain(which has the largest concentration of over wintering Lesser Scuap in the U.S.). The thing is that we were on a flyway between the Lake and the grain elevators were they would fly to in the a.m. for groceries! Once they get to eating grain for a while, they seem to lose the "fishy taste" and are nice and fat! Like little "butter balls"! 8)
