Power 5 conferences returning starters

Postby NUTMEG » Wed Jan 07, 2015 9:41 am

Has anyone seen the Phil Steele article with the number of returning starters all of the power 5 schools have next year?

Bama has some rebuilding to do. I just hope like hell that this 5 star freshman QB enrolling in school this spring is the real deal and can compete for the position. I don't want to be in the same spot with a new QB three seasons in a row.

I am interested in purchasing duck calls that were made by Mike McLemore. I am a family member and they have a sentimental value.

Bama will be hit hardest at WR and Safety. The OL will probably actually be more talented and athletic but will take time to gel. Front 7 on defense will be a nasty group.

It will be interesting to watch Bama reload. Also Ms State with only 7 starters returning is less than any team in the nation. If they can finish in the top 20 next year then I think Dak will get serious Heisman consideration.

unfortunately for DAK you have to be the best player on the best team to receive serious consideration. no way they can piece a team together that is as good as last years with so many holes. or at least i don't see how. still think they win their 8-9 though.

if bama can get some db play and mediocre qb play they should be in line for another run at the top spot.

rebs- offensive line, and qb play.

for exmaple you could kill a 4 greenheads (two banded), a mallard/black cross, and a mallard/gaddy cross and smash a hot blonde on the way back to the ramp and call it a hell of a day
and THAT is a duck hunt.

They have some promising prospects:

Blake Barnett 5 Star and the #1 QB in the 2015 class
Minkah Fitzpartick 5 Star and the #2 CB in the 2015 class
Damien Harris 5 Star and the #1 RB in the 2015 class (he's from Berea, KY and one of my old buddies coached him in middle school)
Calvin Ridley 5 Star and the #1 WR in the 2015 class (hopefully he can pick up some of Coopers slack)
Deionte Thompson 5 Star and the #2 Safety in the 2015 Class

Maybe this CB and Safety are the real deal and can come in the compete in the fall. Blake Barnett is enrolled in school this spring and I sure as heck hope he's the real deal.
