Grass Awn

Anybody ever dealt with a grass awn infection in the paw? appears to be what I'm seeing, but my vet doesn't seem knowlegable on them

Then find one that does. Nothing to play with, can lead to a bad infection and can migrate to different areas. What vet in NOLA do you see?

maple street small animal, they are sedating him today to do an xray. I'm anxiously awaiting results.
