When it rains, it pours....

Laterly it seems that I'm living out John 16:33, the trials and tribulations keep coming. My faith remains unshaken!
I told you fella's about my wife having breast cancer, she's doing awesome. I can't thank yall enough for the thoughts, prayers, advice and outpuring of support!!!! She's started chemo and has already lost her hair, that was a tough day on her even though we were prepaired. What we wasn't prepaired for was last week... I was informed my company is going thru another restructure and my job was eliminated, along with 90% of my team. After 24 years of loyal employment, it comes to an end on 12/31. It's been a great ride to have worked for a great company....
Starting the next chapter in my life is a complete unknown at this point and having never been in an open job market in this day and time is somewhat nervewrecking, but still I'm at peace. I'm committed to going in the direction that the Lord leads me, He got me this far.
All that said, I'll gladly take advice from any of you that has been in similar position. What to do with pension, retirement, etc. What type of recruiting service to use, etc.
The questions are many. Prayers welcomes!
