Is it slower than normal

It seems like this year has been slower for big bucks than years past. Our club on the MS river has been hammering the does, but we haven't seen any 150 plus deer so far. Usually Vicksburg has a monster down, and several more from around the state would have fallen by now. Maybe it will pick up in November.

Through 10 days in the season we had like 8 P&Y's down. Our biggest one is 155.

Buddy of mine that is guiding at Giles said they have killed seven around the 150 mark and had a 170 missed the other day.

No high river this spring, everybody got beans in early and cutt beans early. No beans to hunt during bow season. At least that's our problem. They better watch out come January!
