Update:
We are scheduled for a lumpectomy Monday morning. They will put in a chemo port also during the surgery. She'll have 13 chemo treatments, once every 21 days. This was really the first emotion she showed when they were explaining the chemo and the effects.
Was told that she would lose her hair after the 2nd dose, this one got to her. I guess it's a woman thing.. bad enough to have to go thru this and look like hell while doing it.
I really appreciate the emails, text, thoughts and prayers fella's... it means the world.
Chemo will hit her pretty hard, ya'll prayer for strength and comfort. Make sure your wives are getting regular mamograms!

Could certainly use some prayers here... My wife, Nikki, was diagnosed with breast cancer this week, she has taken the news unbelievably well, almost as nothing has changed. She and I are strong in our faith and have the full assurance from God that she will be healed. The thing that weighs heavy on her is the fact that her mother died of breast cancer at the age of 47, so she's seen what the battle can do. So please pray that these thoughts be held captive and for fear to flee. For cancer to flee, it can no longer stay... claim the authority you have from the Holy Spirit! Pray for comfort and renewed peace and that she may rest in that peace. And we will all celebrate and give HIM the glory as HE moves.
Means a lot fella's and certainly felt.
Many, many thanks!
