And here's another new product...
And here's another new product...
... that I'll probably go in for. $55 pair of "wonder ducks" sounds good to me.

Re: And here's another new product...
not a bad deal. we have a pair of wonderducks that cost 3 times more than those. i don't own a spinner, but use the heck out of the ole wonder duck!
wonder why the boy duck is $5 higher than the girl duck though.....just curious.

Would like to see a video of how much water these kick up. Looks like the spinners are nothing but sticks. But would probably fall for the deal
Re: And here's another new product...
That crossed my mind as well. But, for that price, I'm willing to modify the decoy to my needs. Maybe attach some kind of larger surface to the paddles to make them move more water.chattahoochee wrote:Would like to see a video of how much water these kick up. Re: And here's another new product...
Yeah I could see some modifications being done as well for the price. Only thing about it is that it uses a D cell battery and those can get quiet expensive over time. I believe I'm going to order one and give a few test runs in the pool to see how it does.
Re: And here's another new product...
I like this gamble too...maybe add a "scoop" or something to the ends of the rod???
Are we gonna get wet?
Re: And here's another new product...
Old decoy, bilge pump inside the back of it works wonders and is cheap.........

Girl puts up less of a fight when you go to stick'er....

Re: And here's another new product...
Im gonna guess that the reason they dont have some type of scoop on it or whatnot to catch a bunch of water is because it is only on oneside and if it caught a bunch of water the decoy would be doing circles at a rapid pace. The single stick probably has it do slow circles with a small splash but doesnt look like a duck out there doing the dying quiver.chattahoochee wrote:Would like to see a video of how much water these kick up. Re: And here's another new product...
The decoys came in today. They are a little "bo-bo". They are small too. First thing that's going to have to happen is the "float base? is going to have to be upgraded. It's just styrofoam spray painted black with a bungy threw it.

Re: And here's another new product...
"bo-bo", yeah!
Is there a label anywhere on them that says," made from 100% recycled materials"?
I particularly like the 'pre-shot' realism......looks like an errant Black Cloud BBB.......went straight through.
But for $25, you can't expect perfection.

Re: And here's another new product...
Yea, those "pre shot" holes are for the elastic attached "S" hooks that hold the decoy on the styrofoam "float platform" (as seen in the first pic). High tech for sure.
I've been looking around the plants at work for an upgrade to the flimsy styrofoam, but I am sure I'll have to extend the paddle wheel once I do that.
