I never have been able to get enough of anything to do with waterfowl. I wake up each day and go to bed each night thinking about ducks. (ok, turkeys too) This summer I have been blessed with more free time than usual, and I decided I would use that free time to learn a trade I've been wanting to learn for a long time. Taxidermy.
Thanks to the help of Pat Pitt (The Waterfowler) I have come a long way. Although I still have a long ways to go I am thrilled to have learned as much as I have. It's one of the most rewarding hobbies I've ever taken part in. Seeing a bird come back to life is just special to me.
This is my fourth official mount. (not counting the two or three I've tossed out in the yard) and I am officially addicted to it. I hope to show a lot more of my work in the future. Thanks for looking
