It looks like the McDaniel party is finding thousands of invalid votes. If they have the 7000 needed to account for the margin of victory they can force another vote. The party may not be over...

The great oak tree had stood on a hill over the Hudson, in a lonely spot of the Taggart estate.  Eddie Willers, aged seven, liked to come and look at that tree.  It had stood there for hundreds of years, and he thought it would always stand there.  Its roots clutched the hill like a fist with fingers sunk into the soil, and he thought that if a giant were to seize it by the top, he would not be able to uproot it, but would swing the hill and the whole of the earth with it, like a ball at the end of a string.  He felt safe in the oak tree’s presence; it was a thing that nothing could change or threaten; it was his greatest symbol of strength.

One night, lightning struck the oak tree.  Eddie saw it the next morning.  It lay broken in half, and he looked into its trunk as into the mouth of a black tunnel.  The trunk was only an empty shell; its heart had rotted away long ago; there was nothing inside – just a thing gray dust that was being dispersed by the whim of the faintest wind.  The living power had gone, and the shape it left had not be able to stand without it.

“It was an immense betrayal – the more terrible because he could not grasp what it was that had been betrayed.  It was not himself, he knew, nor his trust; it was something else.  He stood there for a while, making no sound, then he walked back to the house.  He never spoke about it to anyone, then or since.”

Excerpt from a book I'm reading. I keep thinking its a great metaphor for the way I feel about the GOP in MS in light of what has occurred here in the last month.

I hope they find the truth about it all and have to have another election and the real republican candidate wins. It is noe secret that the REpublicans in MS wanted Chris McDaniel, if you say different you are a damn liar or a fool or both. If Cochran has the primary win and is on the ballot in Nov. I will NOT vote for his crooked ass. I can't in good faith cast my vote for them after knowing what they did. They spit in the faces of all the republicans in the state of MS by stealing the election...Kinda like if Thad can't be the republican candidate, then nobody can be and I think that is completely immoral and wrong...loose with some class and take the defeat.
I hope this all comes to light and Barbor and the whole lot of them get what they deserve.

Keep in mind folks, that money they gave to the blacks to vote was your money in some way...it can all be traced back to the taxes they STOLE from you and GAVE to them.

To all who still support Thad after all that he has done...shame on yall..you have no morals either

I figure there are two ways to change the country

majority of tax payers have to stop paying taxes - and stand up and refuse to fund the madness

or a large sum of republicans stop voting - what difference does it make if a few more democrats make it to office ? I mean the republican candidates aren't doing there job anyway.

If standing up and admitting what is wrong is wrong and calling them out on it and saying I won't vote for them because of the crooked way they worked to steal the election is the Tea Party in a nutshell..then damn right I guess I'll take that as a compliment....Thank you

Gotnews.com has one story and it was posted yesterday. How'd they know this guy had the story? He knew about an internet news site that hadn't even posted a story yet? Why wouldn't he take this to somebody anybody had heard of? This website went live sometime last night and the story was reposted on hundreds of small conservative websites within the hour.

The audio, of a recorded phone interview, is editted - listen carefully.

I can't imagine why you'd ask for names and address of people who you're going to pay to illegally vote. I can, however, understand why you'd ask for that information from poll workers.

The timing is pretty good, I though I read somewhere the MS Rep Party was meeting today about the election results.

They asked him if he had pictures of the Cochran worker and he said "I can get some". Either you have them or you don't...

I've tried to understand the logic and have come to the conclusion that you cannot understand stupid - no sense in trying.

My guy lost, so I am voting to keep Harry Reid in charge of the Senate.
