Missed him last week but not this am.-UPDATE

11.75 inch beard. 1.25 inch spurs. If the scales were right he weighed right at 25lbs.

that's a STUD! you won't regret mounting him. I've got my biggest mounted and i love it.

you ought to see where that puts you in the record book. It'll be top 100 for sure.

Got a 20+lb. Rio that my son killed at the taxidermist. It was close to yours in beard and spurs. Killed it in OK. Can't wait to get it back. Should be done by the end of the month. Make sure to put pics of this big boy out here when you get it back. Few things look better in the corner of a room than a big strutting gobbler. We had this one done in a half strut gobbling. Should be pretty. We have killed lots of Rios out there over the last few years but this one had such color that we had to mount him.
