Ask the brain trust best mattress...
I have been looking into this and it seems that its worse than buying a car and every place has a different best product out there. Has anyone got one they would suggest that they have bought? I am not trying to spend thousands but if it makes these aching bones feel better I am not opposed to it. I have started having lower back and leg pain trying to figure out if its the mattress or if its another issue.

Sounds like your sciatic nerve is being irritated or compressed due to lower back problems.

I bought a matress off of Amazon a year or so ago. It was recomended on a TX duck hunting forum. It was about 400 bucks made of firm memory foam and it almost immediatly fixed my neck lower back and sleepless nights. The thing was HEAVY and thicker than my pillow top mattress. I cant believe i used a regular matress for as long as I did.

I had a friend in the furniture business a while back and got a great deal on a Stearns and Foster pillow top mattress. DO NOT go this route. Its way too soft and is horrible. Its hot as well. Pillow tops are a scam.

I have a Sleep Number, bought it for the very reason you speak of. It's not a cure but I sure sleep better than I use to.

You really have to put you butt on one to know what you will like. We tried the Serta's and such but found that we really liked the simmons the best. Got a good pillow from bed bath and beyond and now every night i sleep like I do at the duck camp when my belly is full of whiskey
No, i don't want to know you ---- teul

A couple folks at work have this same mattress. Both bought it off Amazon as well with free shipping. Says it comes in a small box for a mattress and you have to let it uncompress. I'm considering one and when asked if it was "hot", both said that it was not. That is my biggest fear of getting a memory foam. The mattress being hot and I like to be sleep cold.

I've heard the tempurpedic type allows for a little better traction....

Spend the money on a tempurpedic. Not much of an investment considering how long it last and how much you actually use it.

Don't do it! Get the sleep innovations for 400. I like it cold also and have no issues.
You will not regret it. The temper will be 2 grand. I was sceptical also.

Well a pillow top doesn't!! #quicksand
Re: Ask the brain trust best mattress...
I'll never have another pillow top. You can't flip it over. And when you spin it, your feet are in the hole your wife made. While she is in the crater from me. Hated that thing after a year.
Looking for 2 duck calls from Dominic Serio of Greenwood (ones for Novacaine)
