He ran knowing full well he was terminally ill and may die within the coming months. They(his "team", for lack of a better term) kept this closely guarded and under wraps. At what point does something like this become disingenuous and negligent. Seems now it was more about proving a point with his agenda. As vain as it sounds, lets hope this is a get out of jail free card for the city of Jackson. In other news, when can we change the name of the airport?

I hate to admit this, but that DOES sound like a pretty good idea. Let's get all of the racists and keep them corralled in one location. All the black folks that are racists can have Detroit. A Bit If Information...

Jackson, MS has the highest percentage of African-American residents for any city with a population over 150,000 of any city in the US of A that is not named Detroit.

Lumumba was actually not performing bad at all considering the limitations of the city. At least his 1% sales tax increase was something that the people supported and something that affects everyone that buys products in the city...as opposed to taxing the few remaining wealthy people in the city.
