Guys, I need some suggestions for honeymoon destinations. We want to go to a beach somewhere. Don't need to break the bank, but not looking for the cheapest way out either. Thanks for the help.

You'll absolutely love a Sandals resort if you like the beach. It's perfect for a honeymoon b/c you don't have to cook or go anywhere and everything is already paid for. We went to the Grand Ocho Rios....I think they changed the name of it now. I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

Excellence Resorts. I have been to the one in Playa Majeures and it made Sandals look like a Motel 6. No comparison whatsoever.

If you want to get off the beaten path, Cape Santa Maria resort, Long Island, Bahamas.

We went to Cabo San Lucas on ours. Loved it. Got a package deal on flights and an all inclusive resort for a little more than 3 grand.

When did y'all go? We met a couple from the Madison area in July of 2007 or 2008.
Wife and I have been here 5 times. Every trip we meet other folks that have been to different AIs (sandals included), and every one has said CSA has them all beat.

I can't say enough good things about the Sandals in Antigua from our honeymoon. Everything is paid for up front included air fare and it's not terribly expensive. To me one of the most relaxing parts of an all inclusive is knowing that I don't have to spend anymore money.

We we're there in 2011 I believe. Also met a couple from the sip and some drunk oil tycoon from Texas. Got staggering drunk on the big catamaran ride to the caves with him passing around a bottle of rum.
We've also been to Dreams la Romana in dominican republic. Pretty much awful is all that needs to be said about that place. Nice grounds, but horrible food, even worse seafood, horrible workers. Told my wife if we ever go on another big vacation we're going back to Couples.

Sandals grande st Lucia. We have been to a few sandals and all were good but the grande at Lucia is heads above the rest. I would go every year if the flight wasn't so expensive.

I went to one of those Sandals resorts in the Bahamas back in '01. It sucked so bad we left a day early. Marginal food and the only type of whiskey they had was Jack,Jim, and Crown.
I say go to seaside
