Don't have a name for you, but I was mighty impressed with them last month. I sent back a coat that I love--the zipper conked out. They couldn't fix it, so sent a new jacket.

Did they make you buy one before sending yours with the broken zipper back?
I got a jacket as a gift and took the tags off Monday night, wore it for the first time yesterday. The seams under one of the arms busted. Called this morning and they told me to the item take back to store where it was purchased. I told the lady that it was a gift and I didn't want to ask the giver where it was purchased since it may make them feel bad that they had given me a jacket that the seams busted on the first time I wore it. She stated the only thing she could do to help would be for me to buy a jacket from drake, return my defective jacket, and once they received the defective jacket she would credit my card for the jacket I purchased. It seems like a customer would be able to return a defective item to drake and once they received the item they could repair or send out a replacement. It's almost as if their warranty process is purposefully difficult to cut down on warranty claims.

Pretty much the same thing happened with me. So I purchased a new one and returned the busted one. I've received the new one, but still haven't been refunded for the busted one. Called and they said they were backed up from Christmas still . . .

Anybody ever tried sending wader pants back that ripped in the crotch all the way down to the right knee? Me and my buddy both had a pair do it!

I've dealt with them once and it was a good experience. I had a jacket with a busted zipper. I had to purchase a new one and then send the busted one back for a refund. Everyone I spoke with was polite, they shipped my replacement quickly, and refunded my money quickly. I had a year old jacket with a busted zipper and got a brand new one for the cost of shipping the old one back. Can't beat that with a stick.

There are a few "Drake Field Experts" on here, maybe one of them will chime in and help you out

To me its not worth the hassle of buying a jacket from them just so I can return one with busted seams, even if I will eventually be reimbursed. I'll just wear the jacket with the defect and be sure not to purchase any drake products in the future.

Talk to Jeff before you write them off completely.
I had a bib leg zipper go out in SK 3 years ago. The bibs were 2 years old, then. I thought there was no way I'd get them replaced so I had a local seamstress put a new zipper in that leg when I got home.
Then the next year (2 years ago - again, in SK) the front zipper went-out. I started e-mailling Jeff. He understood my frustration, said they'd changed zippers and offered to exchange them, no charge. All I had to do was send him the old pair and he'd send me a new pair. I thought that was fair-enough .......but that meant I'd be without them for an indefinate period of time while the mail carriers did their thing, PLUS I had 2 weeks left in my trip. Shipping from and to Canada would cost too much for no gain as I needed something right NOW!. So again, I elected to make-do and have the seamstress replace THAT zipper. Now, the other leg zipper is bound to fail. So, I left an old pair of 15-year-old Mossy Oak bibs up there rather than hassle Drake about it.....again. I'll have the 'on its last leg' zipper in the Drake bibs replaced during the off-season. Everything else about them is fine.
Pick your battles and be reasonable in your personal dealings and folks will be more inclined to work with you.
They make some good products for the money........(emphasis on: "for the money"). Are they perfect? Nothing is perfect.
