Winchester Super X2 ?????

Postby Ole Leadshot » Mon Dec 10, 2001 4:33 pm

Does anyone hunt with a Super X2 and if so, how do you like it. I'm contemplating over the super x2, browning gold hunter, or maybe waiting for the new beretta 3 1/2inch xtreme. Any information BOTH GOOD AND BAD would be very much appreciated. GOOD DAY.

The SuperX2 and BGH are basically the same gun, the BGH is higher because it has all the bells and whistles. If you have an opportunity to get the Xtrema, buy it.

Super X2 is the best gun I've ever owned.
I wouldn't even consider anything else.

I bought an X2 and love it its the best gun i have hunted with and i have had Beneli sbe and a super90 and this gun I like much better ! I highly recommend it ,I have shot both dove loads and duck loads in it its a good all around gun and I also think it points better than the Browning Gold the rib is raised more on the X2 and I just like it better like the feel of it better ,brother in law has one also and he feels the same way ! I'll add another "pro X2" vote as well. I've had mine for 4 months and wouldn't trade it for anything. I've shot dove, trap and ducks. Not a single hangup or problem what so ever.

I'd rather pay $699.00 for my SX2 and use the leftover money for more decoys or hunting gear.

Just my two cents.

The SX2 is a very good gun, the first time i went hunting with it I got Hung up in the mud
, Unloaded it crammed it in the mud so I could get out. Loaded it back up and busted some ducks butt. I will Recomend it to any body.

The only difference in the X2 and the BGH is that the chamber cut off and speed load features are included on the BGH, and the SX2 has a stepped (trap) rib. They are made of the same parts on the same line by the same people. I have 3 Golds, and really like them. I have had no problems with any of mine, and have well over 10,000 rounds through my duck gun. They are a good family of guns, and will give most folks good service.

I got a Super X-2 for my b-day this past year. I love the gun, first automatic I have owned, so I still try to put it every now and then. My brother has a gold hunter, he got it last x-mas. You never want to own what your brother owns, but again both guns have proved to be great so far.
