Jim Gunter out toward Trace State Park. He and his family used to own Gunter's store and he did the meat. They always had great steaks and stuff but like everybody else they couldn't compete with Wal Mart. He used to take them in coolers at the store and you just told him what you wanted. He now has a place set up at his house since they sold the business.

I also use Bucci Deer Processing in Greenwood Springs. I know that is farther than you asked but he really does a good job. He is right beside our club which makes it very convenient to drop off a deer after hunting. If I'm in a rush they do the whole thing skinning and all. Just bring it straight from the field before 7 PM.

Chris Stanphill (Stanphill's Deer Shack) up 23 north of Tremont. Worth the drive. Lots of different processing options.

+1 on Stanphill's. They have to be the cleanest processor in the state. I would almost eat off the floor and I'm not kidding. They make really good link sausage (cajun and green onion are my favorite) and summer sausage. I've used them for six years now with no complaint. I have a friend in Tupelo that I talked into trying them and he will not take his deer anywhere else now.
