I was reading the "New Gear" section of Wildfowl when I came across that one.

Re: Free Enterprise
Ok, how many of you are now considering buying a goose or duck hat for someone who just will not keep their head down when ducks are working. I think it may work, "If you make another group flare I am gonna make you put on the goose hat"

When Sierra Trading Post buys-out inventory .......it's not necessarily a good reflection on those prooducts.
But, for those who want to take advantage of some good deals......and need a ground blind.......all of Banded's ground blinds are reduced.
(L to R: Cross Cut, Dbl Man Cave, RIP)
The Cross Cut Blind is $212.95 (or less, depending on your buyer status).
It wouldn''t be such a bad product (I like the idea of the shroud to reduce angles/shadows), but the steel frame is so heavy, and the skirt is not removeable. This thing weighs 47 pounds! The heaviest of the lightweight blinds on the market weigh around 23 pounds.
We thought about getting one of these (our price is around $135), but I fuss about how bulky a stubbled-up Finisher is, moving it into and out of the truck bed every hunt. So, I don't want something that weighs twice that, unstubbled.
Good concept, probably very durable (especiallly around kids, wild dogs, and clumbsy overwight hunters........but personally, I couldn't justify the weight and bulkiness for our mobile hunting style.
Right now (if you wanted a 2-man blind like for teaching your kids), you can get one of these for $279.
