Flew a triangle from Isola to Webb, across to somewhere between Rome and Shelby and back down to Indianola, following the Sunflower River south then back to Isola. Scattered birds just south of 82, getting thicker around Hwy 8 and then very concentrated starting about 10 miles south of Webb; one field with no less than 5,000 ducks and at least that many geese. Flying west past Rome, I noticed concentrations of mallards in fields, but not as thick as they were south of Webb. I didn't spot many birds on the leg south, but mainly it was because I was flying over an area of cotton fields. Ducks spotty south and west of Belzoni, about half big ducks and half divers. Still a bunch of water, as you all know.

Thanks Wingman,
I flew from Jackson to Indianola west to the river down to Vicksburg and back.
The largest groups were found off Hwy 3 near moorhead and on the river south of greenwood.

Saw somewhere around 75 to 100 thousand birds but most are held up on private areas that have large amounts of water.

If we could get a freeze going we could see some movement.
