Honestly, I predicted our streak of bowl games would be snapped and State would go 5-7. Now I don't see but one possible SEC win. 4-8 or 3-9 is now a reality.

The blame for that debacle lies solely on the coaching staff. Mullen decided to play not to lose and he lost.

Re: Fire Mullen and Re-hire Croom
The defense played really good except for the first quarter and the last drive. Besides that I really cant complain about our defense. Our offense showed many more bright spots than it did at the end of last season and beginning of this one. Mullen chose to sit back and quit taking risks after he took the lead, a modest 3 point lead, and it came back to bite him. He really has never showed a sense of urgency when it comes to expanding a lead, unless its Alcorn State. What happened to kicking a team when its down and capitalizing on their turnovers and mistakes. There always needs to a balance between run and pass, especially in the SEC, but I'm sick of seeing the same play 15 times a game.
As far as winning an SEC game, KY showed some bright spots yesterday playing against Louisville, and barring some unfortunate turnovers, would have made it a game. If we over look them they will beat us.

work hard, play hard
Re: Fire Mullen and Re-hire Croom
No worries, Mullen can make up some new nicknames for TSUN and should be ok
Re: Fire Mullen and Re-hire Croom
Did not purchase season tickets this year after last years downfall. Had a feeling this was going to happen. Mullen hype has worn off and his coaching (lack there of) and play calling is not exciting to watch.

It would be just fine with me if I never had to hear the name Croom again.
