I read they are fixing to pull out all this stops to lure Nicky to Austin. Crazy $$$$$$$$$, private jet, lifetime supply of twinkies etc. This could get interesting. If he leaves Tuscaloosa for Austin, Bama faithful will leap from the top of Bryant-Denny.

Dream on, but if he does, it was still a great run, something the Ole Miss faithful will never experience. It is also amazing how everybody knows the name of AL stadium, but yet prob 2% outside of the Ole Miss fan club know yours......based on that and the past years of let downs and losing seasons, I dont see why the Ole Miss faithful haven't jumped themselves.

If you were Saban, would you not go for a chance? If true, crazy $$$, private jet, control of the program? I would!!! Can't blame him. However, if and a big IF, AL gets a 4th BCS this year, I believe he will stay and try to get 6. Just my .02.

I have heard from close sources that Bama would match anything that Texas threw at him, plus let him be the governor and the legislature as well as the attorney general for the State of Alabama. They will also give him the entire gulf coast of Alabama via eminent domain.

The only thing that is gonna happen out of UT pursuing Saban is that SEC coaches salaries are going to get jacked up yet again. The new norm will be 8 to 10 million per year in a few years.

The haters are gonna hate. You got to admit, both MSU and UM would love for just one BCS, just less 3. Jealousy has many faces. If by chance Saban did leave, either MSU or UM coach would drop you like a hot potato for a chance to coach at Bama. You may have ducks in MS, but we got football in Bama.

Dan Mullen wants to take this opportunity to officially take his name out of the running for the Texas job.

They might want to bring Manny back to MSU.

The only actual article I have seen in this issue was full of sarcasm and kind of making fun of Texas. I really don't see why he would leave. He can't do anything at Texas that he can't do at Bama. I am sure Bama would match any realistic pay he got offered. I think Savan is at Bama until he retires but he will be linked to coaching jobs until he does. People are already mentioning his name for the Jets position.
