Halpino Lake?

I remember as a kid fishing Eagle Lake a lot and hearing about Halpino. Anyone know if its private or public? Boat Access from the levee? Just curious. If it offers public access, may run over there one day.

I'm pretty sure that you can buy a membership to fish it....I know my Uncle did with high expectations for crappie and didn't do any good in it.

They don't sell memberships anymore, stopped that bout 5-6 years ago an it's not accessible from any other water way

Anybody remember the old hotel before they cut off eagle. I dont remember much but the fire place was big enough to stand in. Dry state back then but there were some large partys up there.
