I was told it was in Northern Florida, but you know how emails travel.

I got that email and it said North Caroline. But, it was just one of thoes emails that gets passed around. I am not sure.

I'm sorry it was taken by someone from Texas Forest Service who was on assignment at Cape Romain National Wildlife Refuge in South Carolina.

No it wasn't! The pic was taken at the Green Tree area of Malmaison.

Don Miller there are probably the same size gators in that area.

Actually, the photos were taken over by a barpit lease we have over in LA. You should see the pics from the rest of the series...we used a gutted deer left over from last season and I hid in the belly of the deer. We baited the gator in using old deer guts and after the inital attack, I waited patiently as the gator swam off... little did he know I was hiding in the deer carcass! As soon as he got done with the death roll and started to stuff me in his hole, I used my bowie knife to free myself from the deer belly and wrestled the gator to shore, where I pulled him up on land and slit his throt with my bowie knife. Now that's huntin'!!!! Maaaaaaan we ate good that night!!!

I can't believe you guys didn't get that story in the email. Somebody must have changed my story around. Who would do such a thing? Boy, anybody will change an email these days to make them look good.
