I think Ole Miss is in the unfortunate position of having legitimate recruiting success in the recent past when that has not been the norm over the last 30+ years. They are taking recruits off of the table from the big boys and it has raised eyebrows.

I am sure nothing will come of this, but the whispers are becoming audible voices that the NCAA is keeping a watchful eye on the Rebel Blackbears. I think it sucks because I doubt they cheat anymore than anyone else, but it is what it is...or isn't I suppose.

What is perhaps most unfortunate is that Ole Miss is much more likely to receive some series sanction than other more prominent programs because they are not a money tree for the NCAA or SEC.

In many social circles in Neshoba county, it is common knowledge that this particular situation was, in fact, very illegitimate. And brazenly so.

Really??? I mean we bought the kid a kitchen table and some bar stools. I think we even threw in a waterbed too. You would think we were paying these kids $$$ to not visit MSU.

freeze was at arkansas state or busy coaching girls basketball at the time.. not in oxford

Apparently, the NCAA is also investigating Ole Miss in their recruitment of Chris Jones. Someone over the weekend with some connections to Ole Miss told me that they may also be investigating Tunsil's recruitment as well.
