8 out of 10 ain't bad.....

Walked a stretch of shallow creek a couple of days ago looking for hog and deer sign...... I took my little 20 gauge with me in case I slipped up on a cottonmouth..... Well after about 150 yards max, I had spotted 10 cottonheadrattlemoccasins.... 8 of em are no longer a threat, but 2 of em may be seeking revenge...... No tellin how many I walked by that I didn't see..... I killed 2 on the way back to the ranger! Just a heads up guys, watch your step in the woods, and watch your babies in the yard........

No pics, but gonna walk it again tomorrow where i stopped.......(I stopped where it started gettin hairy)...... Prolly take a few more shells! The second one I got the other day was coming down the bank at me! I heard him in the leaves and gave him a load of #8's before quick got ready! Ill pile em up for a pic if I'm successful!
