New Polaris Ranger ???

So I picked up Freedom Hunters 2013 Ranger 500 crew from the dealer yesterday. When I got it home I made a few slow passes around the yard, I noticed a burning smell and a little bit of smoke coming out of the exhaust after I parked it. My best guess was burning paint on the exhaust or residual oils burning off. Anyone else experience this with a new Ranger ?

I would check the oil level. Make sure some idiot did not double oil it. I am not sure if they ship those with oil in them or not. I bought a mud motor that had two times the oil in it one time.

It's prob just the paint. I could smell mine the first couple of times I rode it.

I checked the oil levels and let it run with all of the compartments open, didn't notice anything out of the ordinary. When going slow and letting off of the gas you can hear the belt chirp. I am guessing all of these sounds and and smells are part of the break in process but I'll call the dealership Tuesday just to be sure.

Yes mine did the same thing. Just the new burning off. Didn't do it after the first couple of times. Nothing wrong with it.
