Sorry I did not get back last night, long day duck hunting made for early bedtime. Some additional features of the Xtrema along with the exhaust ports are a spring recoil reduction system (over magazine tube), and a "bolt travel recoil absorber" which is a elastomer material that absorbs impact of the bolt slamming back when gun is fired, reducing vibration to the shooter. I know it sounds like I work for Beretta, that unfortunaterly is not true. My job however does allow me to test alot of new guns and I have never known Beretta to put out a product that was not first rate. Classic Arms in Memphis is the only place I know of right now that has them in stock. He only recieved six, (I made it five) but doesnt think that availability will be a problem in near future.
