Re: TV repair
If outta warranty--Take back panel off, unplugged of course. The circuit boards each have 1-2 short round fuses. Buy a few online, most are 8amp slow-blow or similar. They are painted white, so you can't tell by looking-swap them all one at a time. A repairman taught me this, maybe it could fix it, cheap and easy to try.
you did put in the plug, right?

LCD board is bad if no light but you can still see picture when shining a flashlight on the screen. seems to be a common problem with that brand when googling.

Re: TV repair
And they are easy to take apart. Swapped a screen out in mine when it died just two days after warranty expired. A few screws come out and the back peels right off the tv just don't pull it off quick and rip the wires loose from the display.
