OT- Filming Outdoor Hunts

Postby skywalker » Mon Feb 18, 2013 2:57 pm

Well, my son and nephew are getting into the hunting thing and I kinda want to start videoing their hunts. I am on a limited budget and talked to Campbell Cameras today. Anybody got anything they recommend for a starter camera/mic combo and tripod?
I already have a blind up since deer season and turkeys walk right by it, so hoping to start there in youth season.

Any help would be appeciated fellas.

I have a Sony VX2100 camo cladded in mossy oak / shotgun mic / wireless mics / in a nice pelican case if your interested. I bought it used 2 yrs ago from a buddy who films for a show on the pursuit channel when he had to upgrade to HD. Would be a great starter setup. Make me an offer if interested.
