hey,I remember that squable.I started it didn't I? hehe.gadwal is right.Nanih Wayhia is very hard to access and is very hard to hunt. Also very easy to get turned around in if you don't know the area. It's one big swamp.Right now,I don't think anybody has any ducks.Guess I'm gonna have to go up north and do my Snow dance.hehehehe take care out there guys.

Well, I hope you DON'T take this as a 'smart' answer, but "is there water and are there any ducks"? would be considered inside information, since it requires that someone who knows shares it with someone who doesn't. (Yeah, I didn't really think about it in those terms.)

....."just wanting to check the place out" is the only assurance you're likely to get, that the information provided is (or isn't) accurate and reliable enough to consider the place worth hunting. But I suspect the info in this case is truthful, judging by the lack of birds in all areas of the state, right now.

Good Luck and Happy Hunting....whatever area you decide to check-out! I mean...everybody's gotta have SOME place to go, right?

Anat, I think we got in a squabble over this place last year.

Guys if you want to hunt NWWMAyou got to scout it hard for a place to hunt. Most of the good holes are deep in there and are extrememly hard to access. There are places to hunt that are close to launches, but they are covered with other hunters 30 min before shooting. Where I hunt down there is deep deep deep in the woods. One of my regular hunting patners took three other guys in there last weekend and I don't know if they will go back with us again. A lot of hard wading.
And there ain't no ducks down there anyway, unless you want to shoot a couple of woodies.
