Delta Hunting Partner!

Postby pntailhntr » Sat Dec 15, 2012 11:15 am

OK guys, I'm looking for a good duck hunting partner that lives around Leland, MS! One who doesn't know what a dam deer looks like! One who doesn't have a big pot of money to pay for a duck "killing" camp! One who likes to go out in the boat on public lands and "HUNT" for ducks! Just a good guy who enjoys the actual sport of duck HUNTING. Everybody I know around here either deer hunts their arss off and doesn't know what a duck looks like, OR, is too dam lazy to get their butt up at 3 or 4 am to go out in the cold to shoot some ducks, or has so much money they pay for big duck "killing" leases. Well, the last two actually go hand in hand! This person doesn't have to know a whole lot about duck hunting, I'm willing to teach someone everything I know and have learned about duck hunting over the past 30 years!!!!

Longevity in a hunting partner is a rare thing. Those that do maintain it have something special. Good luck in your quest.

Sure wish I lived closer pin.... I'd take you up on that! Everyone I've hunted with over the years has moved off or works ALL the time...... I haven't been in the game but for about 4 years now so there is alot I am eager to learn...... Me and a couple friends use to hunt every morning it was legal that I was home, rain or shine/ hot or cold, but they moved off and it's just hard to schedule something with work, family time, and work..... And being a newly wed!

Well I moved from there about 7 years ago. I hunted over there a lot by myself. Only other guy I knew that went with me on occasion doesn't live
there anymore either. Public hunting is not as bad over there as it is in the hills. If I still lived there I'd probably duck hunt more. I rarely go now
because of kids and it being so hard to find places to hunt public land. Good luck.
