Did Brad Farris completely leave Primos? Havent seen him on any of the shows lately which have missed a few.
I thoroughly disapprove of duels. If a man should challenge me, I would take him kindly and forgivingly by the hand and lead him to a quiet place and kill him. -Mark Twain
Re: Primos
Yea he did. He will be hosting his own show beginning 2013

He hunted with them on a contract basis some this year. I heard he has started his own land management consulting business.

I've always said, just from watching the shows, that Will looked like he could be hard to work for. I may be completely wrong, that's just my perception.

Re: Primos
That would not suprise me. He grew up in the restaurant business, which is literally 'feast' or 'famine', and it don't take long to go either way. Re: Primos
Will and Brad are still very close. Brad left for a better offer and more time with family from what I understand. It's a good time for a single man, but no good for a family man.

Re: Primos
I got the chance to meet Brad at a work function (well, his work and i was a guest of someone else) and talk to him for quite awhile last spring. He was working for a land management service then. He is no longer shown on their site, so perhaps he moved on from that. He'll do fine in that business, I believe, regardless of who his boss is -- super great fellow. I wish my line of work had more people like him.
Re: Primos
Will don't own it no more. They sold it to the same company that owns Bushnell. I think Meachem and Chris are the only ones left from the original crew.
Re: Primos
Brad did leave and start his own business. Primos has changed owners a couple of times over the past few years and people have left. But Brad will have his own show airing soon and from hearsay, Primos will be one of his sponsors. Same as with Dean Davis and Kenneth Lancaster, they left on good terms with Will and the Primos family. They are all still on good terms with the Primo's Team and look for Dean and Kenneth's new show(Antler Insanity) to hopefully be sporting Primo's products starting this upcoming year. I see Dean weekly as I date his daughter and he will be the first to tell you it's hard on a dad with young kids to travel and be gone weeks on end. Said it was a dream job when he was young but it's a grueling one, in addition to trying to balance a family life. Then add video editing, shows and events, coming up with new products, and constantly trying to pick up new sponsors and outfitters, he said it catches up to you quick. But he says he wouldn't trade it for any other job due to his love of the outdoors

Re: Primos
So I guess Brad is based out of MS now, instead of spending the weeks out of town? That's good to hear. He seemed to still be away quite a bit when we spoke.
