Deer steaks in crockpot

Bout to throw some in for a few hours. Any suggestions?

I don't put steaks in the crockpot... Roast however, is a different story. A box of onion soup, 2 cans of cream of mushroom, a cup or two of water, a couple beef bullion cubes to taste, and about a tblspn of Checheres and about 8 hrs roastin' should do the trick

I sear them in the skillet then make some gravy and throw it all in the crockpot.
