Here's a clip from a honker beat-down in the blizzard of November 10, 2010. This was an unbelievable day and the last one of our 2010 trip. We knew the snow was coming, but didn't know how much we'd get overnight. So, we got-up the next morning, decided it was too deep for the pick-up and trailer, and loaded our gear in the trapper's sled behind the 4-wheeler. It was a 2-mile ride (IN the blowing snow) to the field, but we got there and before we had 2 dozen decoys out, the geese started flogging our spread. I got the sled and 4-wheeler out of the field and before I could get back, Anne had 3 honks in the bag. She finished her limit while I filmed. So, she's doing the shooting in this clip. Once she got her 8, then I put the camera up and shot my 8, finishing with a clean triple inside of 20yds. It was over pretty quick and will be a hunt we'll remember for a long time. You just never get tired of seeing a group of geese bearing down on your footbag and backpeddling 2' off the ground at about 15 yds - 'can't get enough of that! That's why I love this clip because it conveys the 'rush' you get from that image.
