which country?

Postby duckhunterdoc » Wed Nov 07, 2012 10:13 am

shall we move to?? I feel I am certainly a minority now. I am a man that lives where slightly more than every other person believes totally different from me. I always thought I was a Patriot, But now I feel I would fight to the death for a place that has radical ideas that I don't even understand. Where did the USA go? For the First time in my life I NOW have ,Not text book knowledge, not some similar thoughts, not sympathy, But I may actually have empathy for a Confederate soldier.

Man i feel the same way. I am in shock that our country went for 4more years of the same. We survived 2 years with Obama, Pelosi, Reid, at least the republicans have the house. Know This though Obama is not in control. God is in control. He has a plan and I promise He is not surprised. Read this quote today " Jesus did not give his life so we could watch cable news as if our lives depended on it"
“Tact is the ability to tell someone to go to hell in such a way that they look forward to the trip.”

I think I remember The Waterfowler saying that you have to have quite a bit of money in hand to move to New Zeland and that they have to approve you, so to speak. However, they are probably doing a much better job at keeping the less than desireables out!
I am interested in purchasing duck calls that were made by Mike McLemore. I am a family member and they have a sentimental value.

Unfortunatly I think all land masses worthy of inhabitation, already are!

I feel the same way you do doc!!

Its sad, I am one of the most patriotic SOB's you will ever see!!!!!!!!!!

Everytime the SSB is played It reminds me of a 4th of July celebration I was in, while stationed in Usbekistan, that celebration was also to remeber our fallen, to include some guys that had been killed in action a day or so before. This was not your ordinary pomp and chit display. This was an all out pride and remembrance display of what we are supposed to feel. This day as I stood at attention, with a group soldiers playing amazing Grace on bagpipes, coming from the distance to just behind our formation. The aircraft flying LOW over head, one c-130 gunship with the biggest AMERICAN flag I have ever seen, hanging out the rear door, I stood in that formation and could not hold back the tears.

I dont want to be a conspiracy theorist or some looney bin, but guys I am afraid!!!!!! I see way to many people and the govt getting ready for something. What, I dont know or maybe I kinda do but just dont want to believe it.

Is this election going to be the absolute downfall of our great counrty? Yall tell me/

I know today, I am not a proud American, and that hurts me all the way to my soul, to say that!!!!!!

New Zealand! Great hunting and it's one of the few countries in the world where it's legal to distill your own liquor. Win win for me!!!

I've been to a few countries, and most of them didn't want me there. I'll stick with the one I've got.

Not another place on this earth as great as our country. Any move would be a downgrade even with our leadership in place now.

I lived in New Zealand for over two years and yes this is the place to live. I travel the world in the golf business and will be retiring in NZ for sure. Presently in Kazakhstan and head home next week. Not my favorite place but ok here. You only have to bring in $50,000 a year to NZ to get a residency into their country. It is hard to get a work visa there though as you better be in good health because they are strict strict. Health care is similar to Obamacare if you do not have private insurance. Most New Zealanders do not as they rely on the government.

If only the US would adopt this policy. That is to move in from another country.

One of the companies I fly for is in the process of opening a new casino in Costa Rica. Seriously considering taking a casino management job and giving up the flying for a few years. It's an international holding co, so I can keep my citizenship, get paid in CR, not pay the Obama taxes, and come home when the nightmare is over.
