2012 Presidential Election Prediction Thread

Postby Deltamud77 » Mon Nov 05, 2012 10:07 am

Who do you think wins and why?

I think Obama wins. The reason I think he wins if because he will carry Ohio. By the way, I don't think it will be settled before Friday of next week. The Ohio absentee ballots will be the "hanging chad" of this election. These absentee ballots will mysteriously push Obama into another 4 years in the WH.

I hope that you fellas are wrong--and I felt the same way until a couple of months ago--but I think Romney pulls out a surprisingly large victory. Going out on a limb here but saying he wins by 10 electoral votes and has 52% of the popular vote.

[Disclaimer: My picks are sometimes terribly wrong, but I am hoping I am right on this one.]

Romney wins. Here are some of my reasons/beliefs:

1. There are too many "undecided voters" in the so-called swing states.
2. Undecided voters typically vote for the challenger, or rather - against the incumbant, because the incumbent has not proven to be worthy of their vote, for whatever reason. (I.E. - ALL of my votes for the 2nd Congressional District in Mississippi. Heck, my buddy Jack could run and get 10% of the vote.)
3. Those who are so lazy that they want the government to give them stuff, are too lazy to get out and vote.
4. The Democratic party has insulted a very large part of their historical base, namely the working mothers and other moderate Democrats who do such things as work for a living and go to church.
5. Conservatives and Republicans are pizzed, organized, and out to prevent the USA from becoming Greece, Spain, or Lybia.
6. Everyone is sick and tired of the BS, $4.00/gallon gasoline, 8% unemployment, and minorities bearing the brunt of the economic woes in this country.
7. Women are not stupid. They care about a lot more than just getting free birth control.

I could go on, but you get the idea.
Nobody owes you anything.

Romney will win by minimum of 5% points and over 300 electoral votes. Senate will still be democrat and house will be republican, so
expect 4 more years of gridlock with the senate putting all the blame on the republicans and the looney left media helping them.

There will be lawsuits and challenges out the wazoo, but Obama will concede because he doesn't want the job anyway.

Also there will be riots in the big cities with heavy negro populations. Jackson and Memphis guys make sure you and your families stay
home Wednesday or if you go out make sure you are carrying when you go.
How do you like your Hope and Change?

Romney is going to win.

The Reason, Momentom. 30,000 people turned out to Romney rally in Ohio. Obama had a 2,800 turnout in Ohio. Pennsylvania last Night another 30,000 turnout for Romney. Pennsylvania has not gotten any attention from either candidate until past couple of weeks. Romney has the Momentom don't pay attention to the polls they can manipulate them anyway they want. Just like that unemployment number that fell for no reason.

I know folks don't like Romney cause he is a morman, but he is a bazillion times better than what we have. I am not asking Romney to be my preacher by giving him my vote, just my Commander In Chief.

My prediction..

Obama wins and the firearm industry takes OFF with record sales

Romney wins and ALL industries take OFF..

but it is too close to call and will be an interesting night tomorrow.... Just gonna depend on who's supporters get out and vote tomorrow..
