We shall see what our D is made of tomorrow. I think johnny football is a great player but I believe much of his outrageous offensive numbers have been assisted by terrible defenses.

If we keep him in check, I think we can score enough to win.

Hopefully the Dawgs are still pissed from last week. Can't come out flat against the Aggies.

aTm is gonna win. I say this for these reasons:
(1) State's defense is overrated...especially Banks;
(2) Johnny F'n Football will keep State's defense off-balance and offense off of the field;

That being said, for State to win, they are going to have to exploit a pretty fair to bad aTm secondary...which I think State can do. They will also have to keep Johnny Football in check...which I don't think they can do.

aTm 31
State 28

What's your logic here, please enlighten me.

This season alone he has 4 picks, 1 FF and recovery, 37 tackles, 2TFL.......he's one of the top of the list players for the Bednarik Award and semifinalist for the Thorpe Award, as well......

He has been thrown on for TDs 5 times ALL SEASON, 2 of which were at Alabama. Of those 2, 1 was botched coverage in the safety spot, so he had no help over the top and took a poor angle. The other one, he did indeed get burned.

Let's remember he is coming off a knee against MTSU and was at about 70% last week vs. Bama per Melvin Smith. Banks claims he is bouncing back a little, but still not 100%.

So please explain his undeserved rating.

ESJay I agree, that was uncalled for. I OD'd on skittles and starbursts earlier. I blame it on the suga.

I'm not impressed. I know he looks the part and I'll admit that I have not been glued to the picture tube for all of State's games. I watched most of the Auburn game, most of the UTenn game and most of the Bama game. Just not impressed. I don't think he is the same caliber elite corner we have seen from Claiborne and Peterson at LSU or Dre' and Milliner at Bama or Jenkins from UF/UNA and Joe Haden...though he is mentioned with those guys.

Don't get me wrong, he will be drafted high and make much money as a result, but I am not overly impressed relative to the loftly claims/hype of him being the best corner in the nation.

I think state loses by 2 touchdowns. Johnny Football puts a hurtin' on 'em!
