Rechargeable Flashlights

Anyone know of a rechargeable flashlight that you can hook up in the truck on leave on the charger? I had a Streamlight PolyStinger for the longest time, but was always paranoid about ruining the battery life because I would just always leave it on the hook mounted under my steering wheel. Eventually, it did kill the battery life. Anyone know of any company that has figured out how to combat this?

5.11 tactical has some that don't have batteries. They use a cataciter (sp). Takes 90 seconds to charge and a charge lasts about an hour of run time.

I second the 5.11 Flashlight. I've had mine for about two years now and I love it. Very Bright. Its very good if your tracking a deer and battery goes dead. You just go back to truck and in 90 seconds your at it again. I have had to send mine back twice now because it was not charging properly, but great customer service. Didn't cost me a dime to send it back. I believe it comes with a lifetime warranty

Friend of mine gave me one last year that is the best rechargeable light I have ever used. Its an INOVA T4. Comes with a wall mount charger and a car charger. Very bright LED,
high-low beam and strobe. Does not have to be dead to put on the charger, I keep it on the wall charger all the time so I don't know why you could not keep it plugged in, in the truck.

I'm sorry but I don't see any flashlights that has a description about capacitors for 90 second charge times. Does that first flashlight on the link that uses lithium ion batteries operate this way?

The light I have is the UC3.400. The smaller one is UC3.300.

Not quite what we're talking about here, but this one looks bad to the bone. Now if they made a scope ring large enough to fit this tube I would have one on my nighttime varmint gun for sure.
