SBE II question...
SBE II question...
I'm getting that 7 year itch for a new shotgun. My SBE has served me well but I'm about to pass it down to my son so I'm looking for a replacement. Comments or other suggestions.

for exmaple you could kill a 4 greenheads (two banded), a mallard/black cross, and a mallard/gaddy cross and smash a hot blonde on the way back to the ramp and call it a hell of a day
Re: SBE II question...
Be sure to pattern it and adjust the cast and drop accordingly.
Re: SBE II question...
Been a Browning man forever until I finally got fed up with my gold hunter turning into a single shot every time I took it out. Replaced the spring multiple times. Gunsmith said it was really just design flaw. I still shoot it but prefer the SBE2. I actually just finished cleaning my SBE2. Very simple. Never had a problem. And it is very light.

Re: SBE II question...
As a gun cleaner/ gun smith I have cleaned several SBEII and Beretta Xtrema2's. Honestly if i had the money right now i wouldn't get neither and get a Versa max by Remington. They shoulder amazingly and have the same setup if a Xtrema2 and a SBEII mated and this is their offspring. They clean very easy and take down is super easy to clean.

I shoot a Maxus and my dad shoots a SBE2. I like them both and they both fit pretty similar, but I give the edge to the Maxus. He likes his Benelli but he always finds a way to shoot my gun at least once when we hunt together.
